Superbowl

It came down to points after all. With no one successfully making a correct Bonus Pick (it had to be GB or Ind), the Second-Chance Pool winner was determined by Tie-Breaker #2: "Closest to the Point Total." And with 154 points scored over the last two weeks, you had to go big to go home with the win. Congratulations to Ankrom for believing in The Greatest Living American and his ability to dial up lots of touchdowns.

(The point totals listed below have been adjusted to the Superbowl Point Total.)

In Week Two, you must make a Week Two Pick AND a Bonus Pick.

Think of it this way:
First, make your Week Two pick.
Then pick a Week Two winner from the OTHER Conference that you think you won't need later (because they will later lose).
The Bonus Picks will be posted after the deadline.

Or think of it this way:
You are trying to pick the two teams that will win this week and lose next week.

The two ways to have made an "Incorrect Bonus Pick" are either:
1. The Bonus Pick Team loses, or
2. The player has to pick the Bonus Pick Team later in the playoffs.
If you look at the 2013 Second Chance Pool, you can see that two finalists picked Carolina, who lost. And two finalists picked Seattle, who won, but then the finalists had to pick Seattle in the Superbowl, making the Bonus Pick of Seattle a losing Bonus Pick.

In Week Three, you must make a Week Three Pick AND submit a Point Total.

The Point Total is the sum of points scored in ALL THREE remaining playoff games:
NFC Championship + AFC Championship + Superbowl

All of the contestants with the winning Superbowl team qualify for the tie-breakers, executed as follows...

Tie-Breaker #1: If only one contestant has a correct Bonus Pick, that player wins the pot.
If more than one player has a correct Bonus Pick, those players are eligible for Tie-Breaker #2.
If NO players have a correct Bonus Pick, all players are eligible for Tie-Breaker #2.

Tie-Breaker #2: Whichever remaining contestant is closest to the correct tie-breaker point-total wins the pot.
If more than one contestant is closest to the total, they split the pot.
(Over ties under. For example, if the total is 40, picks of 41 and 39 would both be winners.)
