2019 2nd-Chance Football Pool -- Official Rules

PRE-REQUIREMENTS: Each contestant must:

• have been a Ducey Pool contestant posted on the board during the 2019 regular season
• be eliminated from the Ducey Pool before Week 15.

ENTRY FEE: Each contestant must mail $50 cash or a check for $50 with the "Pay to:" line left blank to enter.

• Checks must be postmarked no later than Saturday, December 14, 2019.
• Mail entry fee(s) to PO Box 1411, Studio City, CA, 91614-0411

RULES

• Each contestant must select one team per weekend that will win its football game.
• A team may not be picked more than once during the entire Second Chance Pool.
• If a contestant has no team available, he will take a loss for that week.
• If a picked team loses or ties, that contestant gets a "strike."
• Three strikes and you're out.
• The last person left in the pool wins the pot.

REGULAR SEASON WEEKS 15-17

• Eligible games are those being played on Sunday or Monday Night.
• Each week's pick is due by 9am Pacific Time on Sunday.

POST-SEASON

• Available teams do NOT reset in the post-season.
• Eligible games are those being played on Saturday and Sunday.
• Each week's pick is due by 1pm Pacific Time on Saturday.

If more than one person survives the entire seven weeks, there is only one tie-breaker:

• Fewer strikes

There will be no Bonus-Pick nor Point-Total Tiebreaker in this year's Second Chance Pool.

NFL decisions on wins and losses will be official.
If, for some reason, a picked game is not completed AND not re-scheduled, all picks from that weekend will be thrown out.
If a picked game is not completed and then made up at a later date from the beginning, each contestant will be allowed to change his pick for the make-up game. The deadline will be as usual if the league is making up an entire weekend of games (as in 2001), or 1 hour prior to kickoff if they are making up only a game or two.
Picks will be posted on the website as soon as they are made. This is NOT true, however, in the following circumstances:
1. When the number of leaders is 12 or fewer. The leaders' picks will not be posted until after the deadline.
2. Prior to Championship Weekend in the playoffs, NO picks will be posted until after the deadline.
