Pick Totals for Week 9

"Seahawks and Bengals are bound to be the bulk of the picks." [Cincinnati] --Stroup

The "bulkwagon" rolled on. Two top picks of mostly equal weight cruising to pretty easy wins.

Sadly, just below the bulkwagon, a goal-line fumble call took a bite out of the pool this week. If instant replay is still going to be inconclusive, somebody invent the next generation of review! When is the league going to install microchips in the footballs so we'll know when the ball crosses the goal line? How about infrared goal-line cameras? Skin-to-football contact sensors? Why am I the only one working on this problem?

With half of the regular season in the books, we have a third of the pool at one loss or fewer, a third of the pool with two losses, and a third of the pool eliminated. How charming. Let the carnage continue.

Current Standings
