Pick Totals / Update for Playoffs Week 3

"This feels so 2008, chasing one guy and rooting for a NY team." [NY Jets] --McLaughlin

Similar feeling. Very different outcome. That 2008 NY team was the Giants and they toppled not only the undefeated Patriots, but also a no-loss Ducey Pool entry. This season, the magical New York Jets playoff run has come to a close. Even Stendardi picking Indianapolis couldn't rally them this week.

"'F' the Jets!!!" [Indianapolis] --Priggins

That's another way to put it.

Meanwhile, at the top of the leader board, Huber zagged when many expected a zig and now finds himself sitting atop the league for good. He will either win it all or generously share the prize with two other players.

There will also be a large number of non-winners this year. Everyone below Huber who survives the Superbowl will get their entry fee back. The most common use of this money is to roll it over to next year's entry. If desired, the money can be returned or very easily "tipped" to the host of the pool.

CURRENT STANDINGS:
00 LOSS -- 1 Huber
01 LOSS with Indy -- 2 Huber Hunters
01 LOSS without Indy -- 7 Guaranteed non-winners
02 LOSS -- 50 Hoping to hang on as non-winners
03 LOSS -- 558 Losers (no offense)

2nd Chance Pool:
57 entered. Two remain. It all comes down to points now, regardless of the Superbowl winner.
