Pick Totals / Update for Week 3

"Patriots can't do it to me again, can they?" [New England] --Price (RIP)

The Patriots have lost only 2 of their last 22 games, but it was enough to knock Price out of the pool. Twice. The losses book-end Price's 4-week disaster. He and Tom Brady are both sidelined until 2009.

"How come the website lets me pick the same team twice?" --New Player

Though the rules don't allow for repeat picks, the website does. You have to check your own work. Even I don't look for repeat picks, so you can probably slip one or two in. But be warned, if you are threatening to get a piece of the jackpot come January, someone out there is going to look through your picks for repeats. If they find one, the 2nd pick will turn into a loss. There is no statute of limitations on repeats. It's not like a replay challenge, where if you get the next play off, you are in the clear. So check your picks carefully. There may be nothing worse than being in the hunt in week 17, and then someone finds you made a repeat pick in week 5.

CURRENT STANDINGS
00 LOSS -- 212 Leaders
01 LOSS -- 252 Followers
02 LOSS -- 95 Wanderers
03 LOSS -- 24 Criers

Yes, we have lost some of our group this week. Along with Price, 23 others could not navigate the first three weeks. At all. Not a win amongst them. We say good-bye to those lowly 24 now, but rest assured, many more people will be joining them as the season goes on.
