"Leinart playing football in California? We all know how that ends." [Arizona] --Baldy

Turns out the Oakland Raiders are better than the UCLA Bruins after all.

"Another upset: ****Houston over the Jags!!*****" [Philadelphia] --Munoz

The bandwagon hit its first speed bump this week and sent a lot of people flying. And even if, like Munoz, you were able to avoid the Jacksonville upset, it didn't help if, like Munoz, you jumped on one of the other sinking ships. Over 2/3 of this week's picks were losers. Seattle not winning at home? Philly not winning against the Buccs? Oakland winning? It was one of those unpredictable NFL Sundays. Finally.

"Looking forward to the Second-Chance Pool." [Jacksonville] --Turney

And with the devastation comes elimination. 38 people were sent packing this week, bringing the departed up to 50. The Second-Chance Pool does not begin until the playoffs, though. So if you have been eliminated, sit tight for a couple months.
