2005 Football Pool
Playoffs - Week 2 Pick Totals / Update
Players Remaining: 100
Total Hits: 44

Well, well, well. Somebody had a good weekend. Out of 538 contestants, only one was able to pick 19 straight winners to open the season. I think Lublin can now officially be referred to as "The Leader." What does that mean? It means he will have AT MOST two losses at the end of the season. But more importantly, he has the advantage over the rest of the field with only two weeks to go.

Or does he? In the storied history of the Ducey Pool, never has the last remaining undefeated entry gone on to win the pool. Never won it outright, never shared the jackpot, never collected a single penny. I think this season will certainly put that curse to the test, for never before this season had anyone made it to the playoffs undefeated. If that curse can be broken, anything can happen.

Current standings...
00 LOSS -- 1 Singular Sensation
01 LOSS -- 27 Producers
02 LOSS -- 37 Cats
03 LOSS -- 473 Carrie: The Musical
