Week Sixteen

"It's lonely at the top." --Trump~D

Not any more. Our leader has stumbled and joins a new pack of contenders. Some shared the spotlight with him in these later weeks, others took their hits during the season. Two of the 13 leaders, though, took their one loss in Week One. They have laid in wait lo these many months and now get to take a look at the world from the cat-bird seat.

For the 13 leaders, winning is simple. Pick a winner this Sunday, navigate through the playoffs without any losses, and you get a share of the pot. Guaranteed.

For the 26 people behind them, winning is less simple. Keep picking winners, yes, and keep hoping that all 13 leaders will take another hit before the Superbowl comes and goes. It can happen. No one out there is perfect. At least not any more.

Current standings...
00 LOSS -- 0 No One
01 LOSS -- 13 Leaders
02 LOSS -- 26 Striking Disctance
03 LOSS -- 352 Struck Out

Rules rules rules.

  • You cannot pick a Saturday game this week. You can pick Saturday games during the playoffs.
  • The deadline is still Saturday at noon this week. The deadline during the playoffs is Friday at noon. Make a note of it.
  • Do not repeat a pick this week. Starting next week, you will get a fresh slate and can pick any playoff team. (You will not, however, be able to pick that team again throughout the rest of the playoffs.)

From here on out, your pick will not show up on the big board after you make it. To make sure it has been recorded, go back to the "Picks" page and see if it is in the appropriate drop-down box. If it is, your pick is in.

If you want to make your pick after I make my pick (so that I can't use your football genius to my advantage), I will make sure both Ducey picks are made by Friday at 8pm and posted on the website in the box with my name in it.
