2003 Football Pool
Weekly Update

Week Eight

"I hope the Niners play their Cards right. See, it's a pun. Puns win suicide pools." --Pava (SF)

Perhaps good puns do. San Francisco was the disaster of the week and is looking like the disaster of the year. California has to suffer the wildfires, the Terminator, and the triple-threat of the Niners, Raiders, and Chargers this season. If only the Cardinals would relocate to Los Angeles, we'd be all set.

"True, I have no hits. I have, however, used all of the decent teams. Bad planning. Or is it?!?" --Sullivan~N (SF)

Yes, I'm afraid it is. The leader-board shrunk by two this week, two of the many victims of the Niners. And sadly, 37 people will be picking teams no more this season.
