One-Page Summary

In the charming holiday town of Enchanted Falls, Chloe Donner runs a small bakery she inherited from her late mother. Her cupcakes are beloved by the community, and her quirky sense of joy (along with her dog Zooey) brings warmth to everyone she meets. But Chloe’s life is turned upside down when Jeb Diamond, a slick real estate exec from the big city, arrives with an eviction notice. His company has bought out the building and plans to redevelop the block by year’s end. With only thirty days to vacate, Chloe must fight to save her bakery—and her family legacy.

Jeb, under pressure to prove himself to his high-powered father, initially plans to execute the eviction and move on. But as he spends more time in Enchanted Falls, helping Chloe deliver cupcakes to the Children’s Home and local hospice, he begins to question the heartlessness of his corporate life. Despite a rocky start, Chloe and Jeb form an unlikely bond as they bake together, brainstorm marketing ideas, and battle an awkward visit from Jeb’s fiancée Nadia, who shows up unannounced and clueless. Tensions rise as Jeb's lies unravel, and Chloe must decide if she can trust the man who walked into her shop with a legal notice.

As Christmas approaches and the town’s holiday celebration kicks into gear, Jeb faces a life-changing decision: return to his old world of wealth and status, or stay and fight for the woman and town that have reawakened something real in him. With time running out, Chloe, too, must decide whether she can take a leap of faith—not just for her bakery, but for love.
