After collapsing at an after-party, Darnell “Duke” Cunningham wakes up in a hospital under the care of Melissa, a calm, attentive nurse who knows exactly who he is—and is quietly thrilled to be near him. Her affection is obsessive, but carefully masked as professionalism. When she spirits him out of the hospital before his team can intervene, Duke assumes it's a favor. He’s wrong.
Melissa brings Duke to her modest suburban home, where the true nature of her fixation is revealed. She controls his medication, limits his access to the outside world, and manufactures a version of reality where the two of them are destined to be together. Duke is isolated, injured, and unsure what Melissa is capable of—but he knows he has to play along to survive.
As his wife Zandra and bodyguard Tyrone begin to suspect something is wrong, Melissa’s behavior grows more erratic. Duke must walk a razor-thin line between keeping her calm and plotting his escape. I'm Your Biggest Fan is a tense, character-driven thriller about fame, fantasy, and the terrifying power of projection.
