[Frasier Logo]Day 3 -- Friday January 16

Today was the most fun day so far. That is most likely attributable to my increasing comfort level on the set and in the scene. David, Bebe, and Kelsey have been very good about trying to help me feel at ease. The scene itself grows ever funnier with little additions daily from the writers. My closing joke seems to finally be producing a consistent response (i.e. laughter) so it looks like that's going to make it now, which is a big relief. Only good things to report.

The schedule for the day was rehearsing the scenes one-by-one and then another run-through for the producers. There were not many notes or problems during the run-through. There was some discussion about changed lines, especially when the consensus seemed to be the line was better before. But all was friendly and fun. The most amusing thing was that there are a couple of spots in the big hotel room scene where the dialogue and delivery are so funny as to produce Harvey Corman/Tim Conway style breaking up in the scene. It's funny to watch and I imagine will disappear in time, but it underlines how clever the scene is.

Go on to Day 4
