Callback report--

Well, I fooled them all, I guess, because they brought me back as the slick guy. And this time I was doing it for the heavy hitters. Director and producer Forest Whitaker was on hand to make the decisions as well as another four producer/writer types. All sat around in a little circle while I oozed my lines out in as cool a manner as one little dork from Binghamton, New York, can possibly muster.

They pulled the ol' switcheroo. They told me we were just going to do the first scene so that they could get speed things up. (They were running way behind.) And by telling me ahead of time, they spare my feelings a bit when they let me go before doing scene two. But scene one included a couple of very slick Ducey moments and even resulted in an "approving head nod" from Mr. Whitaker while I was doing the scene. So when I finished one, they had me also do two. That's, of course, a great sign. And so while I still don't see me walking away with this part, it's nice to know they liked me.
