Industry analysis...

October 30

"For the WB, the biggest night of the week remains the Tuesday powerhouse of Gilmore Girls and Smallville."

--Hollywood Reporter

"NBC's Law & Order and Dateline hit season highs in 18-49, powering the net to another demo victory. ABC earned its best Friday 18-49 rating since February behind Charlie Brown and Winnie the Pooh Halloween specs and a special Home Videos at 9. CBS' Hack picked it up a bit after plummeting a week earlier, but still was third in most key categories. It edged out John Doe in 18-49, a season low for the rookie FOX drama."
