October 16

"The WB Network, which delivered a strong premiere for its comic book drama Birds of Prey, hit a record weekly high in 18-49, besting UPN."

--Hollywood Reporter

"CBS and the WB are the only nets to show year-to-year 18-49 gains through three weeks. The Frog also matched its best weekly rating ever in adults 18-34 and set an all-time best amrk in adults 18-49 and key male demos. The WB placed four shows -- Smallville, Birds of Prey, 7th Heaven, and Dawson's Creek -- in the week's top 20 in 18-34. NBC won Friday night with Dateline and Law& Order leadingtheir slots. At 8, Providence was on top in viewers but finished 2 shares behind ABC's first-place America's Funniest Home Videos in 18-49. ABC, with a second Videos at 9 replacing That Was Then, saw its best Friday since May and was up 26% year-to-year.
