2012 Football Pool Frequently Asked Questions
There are a few questions that have come up regarding this year’s format. In case there are others suffering the same confusion, I wanted to answer the questions here…
I do not put your name on the Big Board. YOU need to put your name on the Big Board. This is very important. If you do not perform this task, you will not be able to make a pick for Week One (or any week for that matter).
You go to the webpage with the Big Board on it, and you click where it says New Players: CLICK HERE near the top of the page.
Those are great codes, don’t get me wrong, but they will not get you into the Ducey Pool.
Ask the person who referred you.
Yes. But the NEXT page you will come to allows you to enter your own name plus your own password.
The Secret Codes page is a filter to keep out the random web-surfers who stumble upon the site.
No, it is just not a pool that is open to the public. We’re all friends here.

You will need the password during the season to make your picks.
You go to the Big Board page and click on the words MAKE PICKS. Then enter your Board Name and password and you will go to the page where the picking is done. Select your team from the drop-down menu and then click the “Submit Picks” button. Your pick is NOT in until you click on the button.

In case you are psychic and want to do it all at once.
You only need to make each week's pick an hour before kickoff: 9am Sunday. (Playoff deadline: 12nn Saturday)
Your pick should show up immediately on the Big Board.
Try hitting the “Refresh” or “Reload” button on your web browser.
It’s the program you surf the web with.
This pool may not be for you.
A few things might have happened. Your password might be wrong, or you might be typing in your Board Name wrong.
Keep in mind that I might have changed your Board Name from the one you typed in.
To make everyone’s Board Name similar and give the board a neater look.

Anyway, check the board to see if I have tweaked your name if you have trouble signing in.
If that happens, or any other problems arise, send me an email.
My response will probably not be immediate, and the site will NOT create an automatic response. You will just have to wait until I check my email.
Cick on the "Update Info" button from the Big Board.
Updating who has paid is still a manual process and my twelve-year-old sweat-shop employees in Costa Rica get a little behind sometimes. Check back in the next day or two to see if your payment has been officially received and credited. You can make your picks whether you have paid or not.

Yes, Ralph does not need an invite directly form me. Pass the invite on to any friends or family that you know and/or love. We’re not trying to boost our ranks with random people, though. We already have a big pot. The pool exists so that different groups of friends can compete for the cash, so invite your friends to play along.
You can, but given your intelligence, I don’t think that would be wise for you.
