The 2007 Ducey Pool began with over 500 eager football pool wizards eyeing a big end-of-season jackpot. That vision has disappeared for 90% of those people. But should that mean the playoffs have to become irrelevant? No, I say. No.

This is when mini-legends are made. It is the Official 2007 2nd-Chance Ducey Pool.

If you have not done this before, it is a mini-Ducey Pool. It begins Week One of the playoffs and ends with the final gun of the Superbowl. Here’s the deal…

• You pick one winner per week.
• Pick a loser and you are eliminated.
• You cannot repeat a pick throughout the playoffs.
• If you have no team to pick, you take a loss and are eliminated.

There IS a tie-breaker in this pool:
Total points scored in the following THREE games: AFC Championship, NFC Championship, Superbowl.
(Over ties under, that is: 2-over-the-total would tie with 2-under-the-total.)

Entry fee: $50

• There is only one way to be eligible.
  You must have had an entry in the Regular 2007 Ducey Pool, and you must be eliminated from that pool.
  In other words:
  No new names, and
  No name can be in both pools simultaneously.

• There is only one way to enter.
  Send a check for $50/entry with the “Pay to:” line BLANK to:
  John Ducey, PO Box 1411, Studio City, CA 91614-0411
  (Those checks will be mailed directly to the winner.)

• There is only one way to qualify.
  Your check must be POSTMARKED by Friday, January 2,
  AND your check must also be RECEIVED by Friday, January 9.
  No exceptions. Mail early to avoid postal trouble.
