2001 Football Pool Weekly Update

Week Fourteen

"Brett Farve seems like a reasonable person. Green Bay is playing at home and there's no logical reason he would want to disappoint all those hard-working, cheese-devouring fans. It would be better for all his teammates if they won this game and earned themselves a good shot at the division. Why would they lose? It wouldn't benefit them at all. So I will calmly and coolly make the pick that makes sense: GREEN BAY" --Schaffer~J

It was a calm and cool week all around. Only one losing pick and no one was eliminated. I guess when you weed out the riff-raff, this is what happens.

"Maybe it was an omen that my original e-mail didn't make it to you. Maybe I should take it as a hint, a sign that it was an unacceptable pick that will leave me floundering in despair... Ah hell, they're playing Detroit. TAMPA BAY" --Young~F

The only real drama was my internet provider going bankrupt but even that is now calm and cool.

The standings...
00 LOSS -- 0 Fall breezes
01 LOSS -- 3 Arctic chills
02 LOSS -- 27 Freezing points
03 LOSS -- 171 Absolute zeroes

Picks are due by dawn tomorrow (if you haven't sent it already). Don't repeat now. It won't make you happy. I promise.
