2001 Football Pool Weekly Update

Week Nine

It was a quiet week in the 2001 Football Pool. Finally.

After two tumultuous weeks, we had the most peaceful week to date. It was a three-horse race -- Miami, San Fran, and the Giants -- and all three finished in the money.

For the more unique pickers, the fates were not as kind. 5 wrong picks, 3 of them fatal. Good-bye to Blake, Johnson, and Mandel. Also, the leader board has shrunk by one. Only 6 remain undefeated.

And still people don't send in picks on time. Three this week. I just don't believe it. The deadline is Saturday morning when the sun comes up. Don't miss it. (It really is beautiful.) All three of them ended their tour of duty for the 2001 season. Joining the lost because they forgotten... Joe, Keller, and Patterson.
