Week Five

In this year of living dangerously, a forever young maverick showed a brave heart and unleashed his lethal weapons in a conspiracy theory that held the Broncos defense ransom as he showed he's no man without a face to every hamlet in America. Mel Gibson would have been proud of Drew Bledsoe and these Patriots, one of two 0-4 teams that came roaring back with a vengeance in Week Five. One word: Payback.

Just when you think you've figured out who the worst teams in the NFL are, they go out and beat up on the Jaguars or the Broncos or the Panthers. But God bless Cincinnati. In a world where Cleveland can win a couple of games, it's nice to have another Ohio team to mock.

"Football's hard." --Keller

What's definitely getting hard is remaining undefeated. Twelve more people fell from the ranks of the unbeaten. And four people fell right out of the contest. We say good-bye to Kevin Abbott, Mike Lund, William Roberts, and last year's Co-Champ, Kevin Mollen.
