If Norm was considered a hit, then we must be a mega-smash. Norm's audience fell off yet again this week. On a night when Millionaire went out with a huge bang, one half-hour later, Norm turned in household and demographic numbers that were equivalent to our "bad" weeks. Their audience retention from Drew was even worse than our "bad" weeks. ABC just does not know what they are doing, and now they've got this behemouth of Millionaire on their hands and they have no idea what to do with it either. But if any network could screw it up, Lord knows ABC can.
Maybe it's time to stop focusing on the lame showing of Norm
and start looking ahead to our new night. Two weeks from now we
re-launch on Tuesday nights. It's Like, You Know had been in
that spot this season until November and had underperformed (as did
we on Wednesday). Now it's our turn to take a shot at the Spin City audience.
