Day 5 -- March 17, 1992

It is all, at long last, behind me. The shoot is done after five days of kicking, biting and scratching throughout the upper ranks. The schedule did spill over into a fifth day (much to Emily's disappointment) and Allen, by the end of Day 4 was as punchy as I've ever seen another human being. His desire to be done with this misadventure was brutally obvious.

The grueling schedule didn't bother me except for the fact that Emily was visiting and the shoot was cutting a large chunk out of our time together. So I was torn by the fun and excitement of both the filming and having Emily in town.

It was a great experience. I met some cool & interesting people. I had fun. I acted. I got a lot of free food. And I've seen yet a little bit more of how it all works. (And, damn, it takes a lot of people.) And I've made some "connections" with folks who someday could be looking out for little-old John Ducey.

Now if I could only get someone to pay me for it.
