Headshots

October 29, 1997
Lisa Hergo

Yes, it is time again to sit for some new headshots. Some people go through this process every year or so. I had been pushing three years since my last batch. So I went on a little diet and went to the gym with religious fervor to get myself in some tip-top shape.

Lisa Hergo shot my last collection of headshots, and I had a good time with her, felt pretty relaxed, all that good stuff, so she was the photographer of choice again. These days she is shooting out of her home in Venice using natural light which sounds like it should be pretty cool.

The shoot took a couple of hours. We did the usual stuff for a preppy guy like me-- suit and tie, jacket and t-shirt, small t-shirt. We shot a few body-shots. (I haven't been dieting all month just for kicks, you know.) And that was basically it. It seemed like it went pretty well, but then again, how would I possibly know? I dread the thought of picking up my pictures and showing them to people and having them say how much better I look in person. C'mon, let it be time for me to have pictures that actually look better than I really do. We could all use a little bit of that. I should have asked her to use the 'miracle camera' to get those gorgeous shots.

So, if you like looking at lots of pictures of the same person, today is your lucky day. All of the proof sheets are available here, including the 24 shots that were deemed "semi-finalists" for becoming my new headshot.
