Photo/Resume report--

It's the new year, and I'm ringing it in with all-new headshots. It is a little ridiculous that my headshot sitting was on October 31 and my reprints are picked up January 3, over 2 months later! It is truly a testament to the "pace" of the industry. Things just don't happen quickly in this world for some reason.

I had two shots reproduced. More accurately, my agent, Pat, had a photographer, D., get two shots reproduced. I'm not sure why the middleman was brought in, but it worked out fine. I'm not sure what went on order-wise, but I wrote a check for 500 headshots, the bill was for 400 and they did 600. The bottom line: I have 100 of each shot for my own personal use, and 200 of each for Pat & Mark over at I.C.A.

I brought them over to I.C.A. this afternoon right after I got them. Mark thought they were fine. He said my hair looks better now shorter. Maybe next time.

Let's hope these will help get me an audition finally. I'm running out of excuses now. If it's not the headshot that's holding me back, it's either the resume or the agent, and as Mark told me today, 90% don't request an accompanying resume. That would leave only the above-mentioned agent as the heart of my problem. So, it would be nice if this headshot could turn some heads of its own.
