Sunday, November 3, 1991 -- Day 1
Tomorrow was over, but filming for the day was not. As we wrapped Tomorrow, I had Dino touch up my make-up and off I went to my second of two shoots for the weekend.
This was downtown, in a USC dorm that was once a hotel in a big complex called The Embassy, down at 9th & Grand. Todd, the director, called to say they'd be shooting from 5 p.m. to midnight, and to come by whenever I was done. I had an idea what I was in for, but the whole picture was only slowly becoming clear.
The premise for the film was that these 3 sleazy guys were big studs until they got their chance, at which point they never acted. "All talk, no action," you get my drift. So, after the two babes they couldn't pick up decide to leave with the wimp, they sit there dejected. Until... "Just then the door swings open and a STUDLY GUY enters wearing a leather cap." This is enough to bring the three guys (and the bartender) out of the closet. The film ends with the three guys dancing with each other.
So, I arrived in my white T-shirt and heavily ripped jeans and after a little bit they were ready for me. Todd broke out a couple of leather caps and some kleenex to pad my manliness. One of the sleazy guys provided a pair of boots and another a cigarette pack for my shirt sleeve. I was ready.
I made my entrance a few times. Todd panned up my body as I stood in the doorway, ending with a wink from me over towards the bar. We did a couple takes with me propping the door open, and a couple with me stepping all the way in.
That was it. An entrance, a few takes, and film #2 was history.
I was introduced to everyone there, but I really remember none of the names. I'll just have to check the credits at the screening.

I saw it tonight. It was good, funny. I should have read this before I went because I forgot to "check the credits" for anyone but me. Typical.
