This was a pretty lame set-up. Basically, it was just paying a lot of money to hear yourself professionally recorded for a few weeks. Mr. Burr gave "direction" but it was just a lot of line readings.
The thing you need to tackle the voice-over business is a good demo tape. The course, however, does not result in a demo tape. Walla Walla Wally said it takes too much time and effort to put one together, so he just "talks about a demo tape." I would guess you could pay him a few thousand dollars and he'd help you with one.
