Third audition today. Is it significant that the ratings came out today for last night's return of Oh Grow Up and they were less than stellar? Or is that a coincidence? Three auditions. I don't remember the last time I had three auditions. At least this last one of the day was just a general meeting, so I didn't have to prepare any material. I just had to show up and chat.
Just show up and chat. C'mon, what good does that do? I guess you can see if the person has only one arm or talks with a lisp, but you really can't tell too much about their acting ability. Shannon and I had a nice twenty-minute conversation this afternoon. We talked about different credits on my resume and random current events as well. It became clear that I really do need to put together a demo reel with my Oh Grow Up material on it. That would have been the perfect compliment to today's meeting.
Not much else to report. Shannon was nice, the office was far away,
the company makes features, some big, some small, I am nearly
unemployed, L.A. traffic sucks, three auditions makes for a long day.
I'm back.
