New show. Shooting the pilot mid-October. Tracy Pollan is the lead attached. They are casting all of the series regulars now, but my role would not be. It would be recurring. (Real recurring, not imaginery recurring, like the Encore! Encore! limo driver.)
My reading went well. It was tough dialogue, no big jokes and some odd exchanges, but I think I made sense of all of them. I have had two previous lackluster auditions for Denise Chamian so it was nice to actually pull one off. I didn't hit every note as soundly as I would have liked, but I think I was as charming and likeable as the character needed to be.
