Audition report--

Susan Booker was one of the first people I ever read for in L.A. when she was casting Rudy oh so many years ago. I had been in touch with her through the massive Ducey postcard air strikes over all those years and today she complimented me on my diligence and said she certainly appreciated all the effort I have put into my career. That's nice to hear.

Then she hated me.

That's not true. I think. Well, really, I don't know. Unlike a sitcom audition where they either laugh or don't laugh, this was a couple of very serious scenes. She read with me. She watched me act. And when I was done, she told me I had done a good job and thanked me for coming. There's not much you can take from that. She remarked that I had a nice voice ("Do you do voice overs?") but that was about it.

So I guess I should judge it myself, which is nearly impossible unless it goes fabulously or horrendously. And today it went neither. I did a decent job. We'll see what she thought over the next few days, I guess.
