Eric Mathre, one of the architects of the ABC talent deal, called over to Brian Chavanne, the VP of Television Casting at Walt Disney/Touchstone Television, and told him that he had to meet me. So today I sat down with Mr. Chavanne and had a pleasant conversation. No deals were struck and no agreements were made. We simply talked about the business and our respective places in it as well as other random chit-chat. Brian was very nice and it was a fun meeting. If all goes well, perhaps I will be back in his office in the future reading for one of ABC/Disney's exciting new fall pilots.
