Step 3. Same material, but this time the role of the mad king would be read by the master of mayhem, himself, Tim Curry. Luckily today, the reading was at 4pm. We wrapped up our Encore! day at a little after 3pm, so I wouldn't be keeping the heads of NBC waiting today as I tooled around the L.A. basin.
The reading went fine, nothing magical. To say that Tim Curry was hamming it up a bit would be like saying Mario Andretti was going a little fast. I held my own, I think, but nothing really stood out as fabulous.
