Audition report--

Forced out of the house by the visiting Fishmans, I moved my home base to Pier and Lyra's and from there scooted over to USC to read for Doug, a directing-class student.

Besides Doug, there were two women in the room who apparently also were looking for people. They were, I think, Catherine and Liz, but I would bet no money on that.

It was a short, interesting scene between two lovers, the woman being married. I read it twice, the first time very low-key and in control, and then the second time, following Doug's direction, more on-the-edge and fed up.

It went fine. It was fun. It's such a great job. I just wish someone would start paying me money to do it.
