Audition report--

Mr. Aaron Kirsch walked in a couple minutes after me, a little late to the 9am Saturday morning audition, the first of the day. I read over the script of his non-sync sound, dysfunctional family short. It seemed funny enough if it keeps flowing.

I opened with my Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead schlock. That went fine. That's the fourth time I've performed it for audition purposes in my life, the sixth time in front of an "audience." (That's 2 Harvard acting class outings added in.)

Then, Aaron, a Tim Banker-esque man around 20, had me do a series of facial expressions. There was false happiness, shock, disgust, exasperation, blank stare, giving in, panic, oh what a slew. Since I was first, he was sort of just flipping through the script making up what he wanted. It was fine, and I think I did fine, and all this fine. (And I didn't get a parking fine.)
