Audition report--

It was the easiest audition so far, but it also may have been the worst. I met with Dan, a recent U. of M. graduate now a grad student in USC's producer program.

We met at the Hollywood Diner on Sunset to talk, but we didn't even go in. We just leaned on the concrete wall outside. Dan explained the film - a non-sync short about a burglar who falls in love with the counter girl he robs. Than she sets him up to get arrested.

Dan just wanted to see me live and in person, and talk about my "experience," or, in this case, the lack of such. I told him about my Harvard films (I said I was in 2 student films) and my over 20 shows. I forgot to bring a P/R, so I imagine he was thoroughly unimpressed.

Well, it's not one to feel too bad about, but it was foolish to forget a resume.

Live and learn. Don't do it again.

Well, I got it anyway. You never know, I guess. The shooting conflicts with Tomorrow unfortunately, so it probably won't pan out.

It didn't. It was never really confirmed but the shooting day came and went without him ever calling me about working around my conflict. Oh well.
