It's nice to get a compliment before starting your audition, and it's nice to get a positive response when you're done with your audition. Today, was double nice. Mark Saks opened with remarking how much I have been working, which was great, and then to top that off, when I finished the scene, said, "He always nails it." It's like bringing my own publicist into the room.
And it worked. I got the job.
