So, it's not technically a callback because I did not read for the same role today, but I did read for the same episode. It went fine, I guess. I thought I had a pretty good take on the scene, and they laughed at the right places. The problem was that, for some reason, I didn't notcie my first two lines when I was preparing for the audition. So after I did the scene once, they had me go back and try a little something different, and this time include all of the lines in the scene.
On top of that, one of the two "new" lines had a three-name law firm in it. Great. It couldn't just be "Hello, how are you?" So I did the lines, actually getting one of them wrong and, as a result, not giving the cue line to the casting director, so she didn't know when to come in, so I just kept on rambling on, it was a mini-disaster. If preparedness and thoroughness are the qualities they look for in their actors, I'm screwed.
