Audition report--

Here's an idea: If it is just going to be me and a casting assistant, and the audition is going to go on tape for others, then rehearse it once with the assistant. It seems simple. Just ask her if you can read through it once with her before putting the scene on tape, especially if it is only a 20-second scene like today.

So, no, it didn't go so fantastically today. I thought I could do a good job with it, but when the words left my mouth, they didn't sound like I had expected them to. This is where the rehearsal might come in pretty handy. It would have helped to experience the scene in the room with the casting assistant first. Anyway, it's over. Maybe I have learned something though. Now I just need the courage to pull it off next time.

Oh, and did I mention this is a movie with Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton? Oh, yeah, well, it is.
