Amidst all of the pilot craziness, I performed a little one-minute scene for the movie Judge Koan, about a TV judge who uses Zen philosophy to decide verdicts. Could be cute. My part would be the frazzled TV executive who just doesn't get it.
I made a mistake, however, in preparing it. I made him clueless.
Right before I began, I got a note that he is a bastard. I tried to
incorporate that into what I had prepared but the result was less
than spectacular. To pull of the real prick roles, I need to nail it.
