Three months have passed and this show needs to re-cast the role of Nick. I went in for it originally and felt that I was hurt by having worked with the writers previously:
"I tore into the scene of the sleazy womanizer best friend, and behind me the reel of my scenes from Yes, Dear as the perfect father must have been playing as well."
Today I think it was simpler than that. This guy should be a little
dirty, a little disshevled, a little unkempt physically and as a
person. They don't look at me and see that.
