Two reporters. "Prepare both roles," they said. But they
never said if we would do both at the same time, read each one
separately, read only one, whatever. We ended up auditioning in
groups of two, each person taking one of the roles. I went in with
long-time friend Bob Glouberman. I thought they liked him fine. Me, I
didn't get the vibe. I also started saying one of Bob's lines in the
middle of the scene (an obvious hazard when preparing two roles at
once) and never got back on the horse. The scene was just too short
to make it up.
