I didn't even have a grasp on this one. The scenes could have been taken from a drama, just a bunch of stock traders jabbering about their business and their relationships, but this is, in fact, a sitcom. I performed the scenes as if they were from a drama, but the reaction to my performance was, in fact, as if it were a sitcom. There were no punch lines, no laugh lines, but from the response of the room, you would think I was, in fact, the King of Comedy.
I acted. They laughed. I left. I didn't get it, but as long as they
did, maybe I'll get the job.
