Victor Fresco is putting this project together. I went all the way to network with him last year for The Trouble with Normal. Of course, I did not get that part. So is our history a good thing or a bad thing? My hope is that, even though I did not book his show last year, he is still a fan of my work and would like to show me. The best way to show me would be to give me this little guest star in his latest pilot. Makes sense, doesn't it?
There were only five lines for the audition, but I got a little laugh
from him in the middle so I thought it went well. I was up against
Jack Plotnick, who I think is the best person for the role,
type-wise. He's very funny and talented so it doesn't look good, but
I think I have a shot.
