Audition report--

I know this one went well in the room. Jon, who was running the audition, reading the lines, and operating the camera, had me do each little scene a couple of ways. Every time he seemed very happy and impressed. He told me at the end of my reading that the role would be cast by 5 o'clock because it starts this Sunday. It's now nearly 8 o'clock and no word has come back from Pakula/King about he job.

This is similar to my commercial auditioning days where the people working in the room would be happy with what I did, but whoever ended up looking at the video footage of the audition decided, for one reason or another, that I was not the guy they wanted selling their product. Thus the 0-for-Life in commercial auditions. This is not that. Numbers-wise it can't be. I'm already above 0-for. But it's frustrating that whatever I do doesn't translate to the little video camera for some reason.
