Rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...
I was excited about this one and very prepared. I had a vision of
what I wanted to create in these two scenes today. So imagine my
frustration when I didn't. I got off on the wrong foot by stumbling
over the very first line. I was trying to create a moment at the
beginning and instead of trusting myself to pull it off, I panicked a
little and messed it up completely. I never returned to top form for
the rest of the two scenes. About 3/4 of the way through the
audition, I could feel my body being coated with a thin layer of
sweat. My fight or flight response was kicking in I was so
frustrated. It just wasn't my best performance ever. Too bad, too,
because it was a funny script and a great character for me.
