So, not quite done auditioning for this one yet. They needed me to come back in and do an angry scene, see if I had the chops to pull off intimidating. You would think your own friends wouldn't put you through so many hoops, but Larry and Chantel are nothing if not thorough, God bless 'em. I was also trying to impress the director with my reading, since he was not as familiar with me as the Toffler family.
The scene went fine. Iread with Larry and then got some notes from Hank Saroyan, the director of the project, and we did it again. I hope I didn't frighten them too much, what with my big scary presence and all.
The real excitement in all this is the possibility of seeing Five
Card Stud through to its manifest destiny, its appearance on the
big screen. It's fun to be on board after all these years. I hope
it's as PAUL, but I still have old faithful BILL as my back-up. I
didn't do badly enough today that they would actually take away both
parts from me.
