Tough outing in the world of game shows. Ben Decter and I made our way over to the 100,000 dollar suite after a night of intense pyramid rehearsal. The audition, we were told, would be a quick 20 minute test of general knowledge, followed by an hour or so of playing the game for those who pass.
Those who pass.
Ah, those 3 simple words: Those who pass.
The six-minute, thirty question test proved to be too great of a challenge for this Harvard grad, as well as for Ben, and funny enough, for all 15 people who came to try out. And so, a half hour after we had arrived, we all sadly made our way into the 6th floor elevator and dropped out of the game show biz.
The "good" news, or "sorta OK" news as the case may be, is that we can return to be humiliated again, except not until November. So it's sit tight for a month.
Time to call Wheel of Fortune, Tic Tac Dough and Match Game.
