Well, it was good to be out and about in the world. While at the Zima callback today, my friends at James Tarzia casting asked me to come in for their burger spot. It was a couple over-acting a romantic "I can't leave you!" scene. Cool. I jumped into it and dashed off my two lines and then swept Arianna up into my arms. Oh so dashing.
It wasn't until I got in the car on the way home (and this happens a lot, of course) that I started to realize how it should have been done. There just could have been so much more flare given to the lines, especially given the fact that we did two takes. The second one could have been huge to show them I was willing to go there. Didn't do it. It's one of those learning experiences that I have way too many of. Now I just need to actually start learning something from them.
