Back on the commercial audition circuit. It's been a while. And when I say a while, I do mean that yes, it has been a while since I auditioned for a commercial, about two months. But I think going deeper than all that is what a long while it has been since I have been called back for a commercial. I really can't get arrested at a commercial audition.
Will this be the start of a new era? Noooooo, not yet I'm afraid. Just a ten-second adventure. I am the car-wash attendant guiding Mrs. Johnson and her kids in their Honda 4x4 onto the track at the car wash. That's my summer job and since I know I'm going on to bigger and better things, I'm OK with it. I smile and act like a happy-go-lucky car wash attendant. No words just looks and smiles.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to turn it into video magic. It was everything it was supposed to be to get the job done, but it was nothing it had to be to get the job. Not clever, not interesting, not funny. My only hope is that I'm related to the director. Oh, please, please, please...
